This may be one of those times where if it sounds to good to be true it usually is. However, it could also be legit. Here is how to tell the difference and find a legit way to work from home mailing letters.

When you see one of these ads they will most likely say that you can make a large amount of money for stuffing envelopes and mailing them. If you respond, you will be asked to pay a fee to sign up or register. Then you will be required to place the same ad you answered and get others to sign up as well and receive a small percentage as your commission. That is actually how you make money, from registering other people.It is very similar to the work from home processing rebates scam that I told you about. Stay away from these ads and do not send anyone any money for a job mailing letters. The only person getting rich is the person who receives all of these payments from people just like you, that are looking for a way to make money while staying at home. Even though it may seem like a small price to pay, you will end up losing that money. You never actually 'mail letters.' The entire point of the job is to get people to sign-up for this 'so-called' position.

The legit positions that require you to mail letters from home are harder to find, but if you know what to look for you have a better chance of finding one. Technology has taken over; for the most part, people tend to use email, social networking and the internet in general to communicate. This goes for businesses as well as their customers. But, there are still people out there who write letters and use regular old snail mail to communicate. Some people do not even have an email address or a computer! Yes, people like that still exist and businesses still need a way to connect with them on a personal level.In a time where customers can sign up for newsletters and exclusive emails, how does a business connect with someone who does not use the internet? Well, that is where you come into the picture. You can type up a personal letter to previous or potential customers and send it out along with that week's sales circular or a newsletter that updates them on special events, promotions and deals. If you have graphic design skills, that is a bonus because you can offer more creativity to the business owner. You will be offering a service that is needed to show a specific group of customers their value to a business. Just because they do not use the internet, does not mean they are not as important to the business and you can help make the connection to their customers.If you want to work from home mailing letters, reach out to some small local businesses with a proposal. Explain to them the ways that you can assist them in reaching out to this specific group of customers and strengthening the relationship between them and the business.
