Since my oldest child just started Kindergarten, I am fairly new to this whole school thing. In the past, both of my boys only went to Preschool. Well, as my son would say, “this is real school now, Mom.” I guess he is right.
With real school comes a real schedule and routine. Now that we are a few weeks into the school year I have found that my son comes home starving. We normally eat a pretty early dinner, but I cannot hold him off that long.
I have been searching for new after school snacks that he will enjoy. I hate the idea of him just eating cookies or chips before dinner. So, I made this fruit dip the other day with the new Smucker’s® Fruit & Honey Triple Berry fruit spread that is naturally sweetened with honey. Wow! It was amazing!
Not only was it easy to make but I was able to get my kids to eat fruit with it. I have some really picky eaters so it can be touch to sneak in their fruits and veggies on a daily basis. I love that it is naturally sweetened and it tastes delicious.
Fruit Dip Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Yogurt
- 3 Tbsp. Smucker’s® Fruit & Honey Triple Berry fruit spread
- 1/2 Cup Cool Whip
Fruit Dip Instructions:
- In a large bowl mix the cool whip and yogurt. I used plain yogurt but you can use any flavor you like.
- Next, mix in the Smucker’s® Fruit & Honey Triple Berry fruit spread.
I added an assortment of fruit and graham crackers for my boys to eat with the fruit dip, but you can enjoy anything you like with it.
There are a variety of the Smucker’s® Fruit & Honey fruit spread flavors to choose from. We cannot wait to make this fruit dip again and use the Strawberry fruit spread. You can also check out the Smucker’s website for recipe ideas and inspiration for using the fruit spread for baking and snacking.
