2022 Budget Binder Printables

Start saving money in 2022 with these free Budget Binder printables.

Every December I get so many emails asking when my new Budget Binder will be ready and today is THE day!

I absolutely love all of the sweet messages and emails everyone sends me about how many years they have used my budget binder printables and how it has helped them to transform their budget.

I've been sharing these budget binder printables for more than 5 years now!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do because as soon as you start to track your income and expenses you will start to see your debt continually decrease month after month.

I know how hard it can be to commit to change, but honestly, it makes a huge difference.

Small action steps like using a budget binder and tracking how you spend your money start to add up quickly.

I know there is a stigma around the word budgeting and some people are hesitant because they feel like it means they are cheap or won’t be able to spend money how they choose to.

But, it doesn’t have to be that way.

It’s all about creating a budget that fits with your lifestyle.

I also have Yearly Household Budget Spreadsheets that you can use to have a digital copy of your monthly budget.

How to Make A Budget Binder (2022)

Monthly and Yearly Financial Goals

The Monthly Financial Goals sheet will allow you to reflect back and figure out what you can do differently each month. It also has an area for you to write down what you need to do to reach those goals.

Your goal can be to pay off your student loans, decrease your groceries budget, easily pay your monthly rent or just get a handle on your purchases.

The Yearly Financial Goals sheet offers you a place to write out your major goals for the year.

For example, one of your yearly goals may be to save up enough money to replace your driveaway at your home. You could then write that in for Goal #1 along with the estimated cost and a date for when you would like to have it completed by.

This will help you to see why you are saving money or cutting back on other expenses throughout the year.

This can also be a place where you write a vacation goal. It will give you a deadline to have enough money saved up for your vacation.

Planning ahead and getting in the habit of goal setting will help to keep more money in your pockets.

Monthly Bill Tracker

This sheet is here to help you pay your bills on time. One of the top financial struggles people have are paying their bills on time.

Either you forget, or you haven't budgeted enough money and have to wait until your next paycheck.

Don’t you just hate having to pay a late payment fee? Those costs can really start to add up.

These are great for all of your recurring monthly expenses such as personal loans, car payments, kids tuition, mortgage payments, utility bills, gym memberships, insurance payments and whatever else you have come out every single month.

This is essentially an expense tracker to make sure your monthly income will cover all of your expenses.

This tracking sheet will help you to stay organized and see when a bill is due each month.

Monthly Budget

You can use this template to easily track your income and expenses each month by filling in your totals. If you prefer, you can print my blank version and fill in all of your own expenses rather than using the pre-filled categories.

I have a column for estimated so that you can budget your money and then a column for the actual amount of the expense each month.

These monthly budget worksheets help you to plan ahead to make sure you have enough money to cover your bills.

Bank Account Information

This sheet is pretty much self-explanatory, but it is nice to have all of this information together in one place. I have a separate bank account for my blog and we also have separate bank accounts for our four boys.

It is nice to have the account numbers and routing information handy for when I need to make any kind of transaction. This is a great place to keep information for a savings account that you can directly deposit money into from each paycheck.

Debt Paydown

I am sure you can agree that paying down debt is extremely difficult. Being able to find extra money to put towards your debt each month is hard. You can use this printable to keep track of each creditor you have.

This debt tracker will help you to stay on track and make sure you are paying off your debt.

You can print a separate sheet for each creditor. For example, you can print a copy of this debt payoff planner for your car loan and then another copy for a credit card that you have.

This sheet can help you to decide which debt you are going to try to tackle first.

Blank Monthly Calendar

I like to include this calendar so that I can write down important dates and even keep track of when we will be receiving paychecks or other income.

This will help you to figure out how much money you can budget each month. This is also good to use if you have a special event or party coming up so that you can plan ahead for it.{Related: Using a Gift Tracker & Budget}

Holiday & Observances

This sheet is in my budget binder so that I can plan our holiday spending and other occasions. I will compare those dates to our payday schedule and make sure I am budgeting enough money.

To create your own 2022 Budget Binder I recommend that you print the number of pages below.

You can then put them into a 3-ring binder to keep it together and easy to manage.

  • 1- Cover

  • 12- Monthly Financial Goals

  • 1- Yearly Financial Goals

  • 12- Monthly Bill Tracker

  • 12- Monthly Budget

  • 1- Bank Account Information {unless more are necessary}

  • Debt Paydown {however many are necessary}

  • 12 – Blank Monthly Calendar

  • 1- Holidays & Observances

Once you have everything printed you will then need to assemble it.

This is how I assemble mine, but you can put it in the order that works best for you:

  • Holidays & Observances

  • Bank Account Information

  • Emergency Fund Tracker

  • Debt Paydown

  • Yearly Financial Goals

  • Blank Monthly Calendar

  • Monthly Financial Goals

  • Monthly Ledger

  • Monthly Budget

  • Monthly Bill Tracker

Repeat for each month {Blank Calendar – Monthly Bill Tracker}

These monthly budget worksheet are one of the easiest savings trackers you can use to get out of debt and stay on track with your finances.
