How to Save Money Everyday:

1. If you buy a lot of food and/or drinks it can quickly add up to a large expense over a month. Do you have a favorite restaurant food that you purchase for lunch or Starbucks drink? Do a quick search online for "copycat recipes". You will find some great recipes to recreate your favorites and save you money. Yes, it is much easier said then done. But, if you are really trying to save money this is a big expense that will definitely add up and be beneficial to you to cutback on.2. Bottled water is expensive to buy everyday. Instead, buy a reusable bottle with a filter built it and fill it from the tap. It will pay for itself quickly and save you a ton of money. This is one of the easiest ways to save money. If you purchase a bottle of water everyday you could potentially be spending more than $50 a month just on water. Overtime that money does add up.3. Set up a car pool to save money on gas every day. Gas prices are high so this is a big money saver. Depending on your job this may not be an option. But, think of other occasions in your life where you can carpool. Do your kids do after school activities or participate in any clubs? Again, this is where it is nice to have your daily activities written down. You may not think you drive a lot but when you see a week in perspective you may be shocked.4. Join the rewards programs at all the stores you frequently shop at. You can get discounts, special promotions and freebies by using your store card. Plus, many stores give special promotions and mail high value coupons to reward card holders.5. Pay attention to the little extras that add up. For example, using an ATM machine that is not in your bank can have high fees. Each time you withdraw money you can be charged anywhere from $1 to $4. That adds up, especially if you go to the ATM every couple of days. You may think this is a small amount, but if you pay in cash then you may be going to an ATM once a week to get out the money needed for your weekly expenses. If each time you have to pay a fee you will pay more than $200 a year in fees!
