How to make Baby Shower Invitations With PicMonkey
Hosting a baby shower can get very expensive, so it is nice to find ways that you can cut back without sacrificing things you want for the shower. You can use a program called PicMonkey to make your own invitations. Not only will it save you money, but it will allow you to create the Baby Shower Invitation exactly how you want it.
Start by logging into PicMonkey. You can purchase the premium version of PicMonkey in order to have access to all of the features, or stick with the basic free version if you do not think you will use it much. However, I think it's totally worth a few bucks a month!
Choose the "design" option, or upload the image you would like to use here. I use the 4x6 design option when I am doing invitations.
Click on the butterfly, then upload your own clip art (search "free baby shower clip art" if you need to find some). If you don't have your own clip art, you can use the adorable overlays they have. My favorite? The buggles!
Next, add your text. If you want to use fonts that aren't automatically loaded into PicMonkey, upload your own custom fonts! Restart your computer after downloading them, or they won't show up.
This part is fun because you get to try different fonts, styles, colors, etc. Match your baby shower theme, or just make something cute and random - it's totally up to you!
When you add overlays, you can change their colors and even fade them out.
Add a few finishing touches, double-check for errors, and send them to print!
