Baby Shower Table Decorations

Fine inexpensive ways for decorating a baby shower can sometimes be difficult. If you have a particular theme it can be hard to incorporate the theme while still trying to stay within a budget. Below you will find 5 baby shower table decorations that are easy to do and can be altered to fit the theme of your baby shower.

5 Baby Shower Table Decorations:

Baby Bottle Place Settings.  These are great for more formal Baby Shower Tea’s or Luncheons but can be used for any Baby Shower.

  • 1 Baby bottle for Each Attendee (I grab the least expensive package at a local dollar store or discount store – they need to be clear)
  • 1 piece of “Themed” paper per bottle
  • 1 Round White sticker label for each bottle (use for names if using as place settings)
  • Coordinating Ribbon
  • Candy to fill bottles with.
    • Depending on size/style of bottle, you can either place paper inside bottles or glue/tape to outside of bottles.  Place name labels in center on each bottle.  Fill bottle with little pieces of candy and tie coordinating ribbon around top of bottle.

Rubber Duckies & pacifiers.  These are usually inexpensive and easy to find in bulk.  15-20 of each scattered over tables or used as “anchors” for balloons can add “décor” without a lot of work.Small Potted Plants.  Depending on what time of year it is this is a great and inexpensive way to decorate tables, especially if you have a color theme.  Cheap plastic pots are available for under $1 each at most home improvement stores and depending on season a 6 pack of flowers to plant can be as low as $0.99 each.  Grab a bag of potting soil and put one of your kids to work assembling fresh flowers to decorate the tables with.Candy Store Theme.  Does your Mommy to Be have a sweet tooth?  This is the perfect theme for her.  Head to your local Dollar Store and grab several inexpensive clear jars and containers.  Fill them with her favorite candies and place around the room for splashes of color.  This also can be easily adapted to color themes.  If you have the budget, purchasing themed M&M’s, Hershey’s kisses, etc.is a great unique way to decorate and share “favors” with guests.Cake Pops or Cupcake Centerpieces.  Use your dessert as a centerpiece on your table.  This is especially easy to do with Cake Pops or Cupcakes as you can stack or arrange them into bouquets.  You can create 3-4 smaller bouquets and spread over each table or do one large bouquet at your main table as decoration.baby shower table decorations
