My Holiday Baking Tradition

Do you have any holiday baking traditions? A few years ago we moved into a new neighborhood and I was invited to a cookie exchange party for the holidays. This was not something I had ever participated in, but it was a lot of fun.Do you have any holiday baking traditions? I participate in a really fun cookie exchange. Find out how I am making my cookies extra special this year! Many of you probably do a cookie exchange every year, but if you do not it is a get together with family or friends and you each bake either a ½ a dozen or a full dozen of cookies for every person who is attending the exchange. For example, if there are 6 other people participating then I would bake 6 dozen of the same cookies so that each person gets 1 dozen. This way you leave the party with an assortment of cookies.I love being a part of this tradition with my neighborhood. Not only is it fun, but I can then use those cookies for all of our holiday parties. All I have to do is grab a few trays and separate the cookies. If you have been around my blog then you probably know that I am not the best in the kitchen. I am definitely better at baking then I am cooking, but I still try to come up with easy recipes. This year I decided to make these delicious peanut butter cookies for the exchange.I purchased the ingredients I needed for these cookies at Giant including the Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil.Do you have any holiday baking traditions? Since I bought Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil I thought I might as well challenge myself and bake cookies that require more than one ingredient. As you can see I did not make them from scratch but I did enjoy baking!Do you have any holiday baking traditions?
